The DSNA Services Expertise Recognised by Funders

DSNA Services assists the French Development Agency, the AFD (Agence Française de Développement), by providing technical and legal expertise for the SBAS (Satellite-Based Augmentation System) strategic program implemented by the ASECNA (Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar).

Through the AFD, key player in France’s development policy, the European Union funds the « Phase B » study about the preliminary architecture design of the future SBAS built on the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS). This initiative will contribute to the improvement of geopositioning services quality as of 2021. In addition to that, the ASECNA’s position as an air navigation services provider will be reinforced.

In this context, DSNA Services supports the AFD as delegate and contributes to ensuring respect for the procurement process, the universality of the study’s requirements and the equal treatment of the received offers.

DSNA Services is also involved in runway renovations at the Port-au-Prince airport since 2016. This strategic project contributing to the Haitian economy and tourism development is funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and will be completed in September 2018.

These successful collaborations demonstrate that DSNA Services activities are fully aligned with funders ambitions when it comes to developing countries with strong growth potential.
